Bannon & Son began in 2009, founded by a high school senior with an eye for design and a growing mastery of wood.

His father, also named Bob, joined the business soon after, bringing decades of expertise in electronics, engineering, and fabrication. The partnership proved so effective that the business outgrew its original name, Bob Bannon Designs.

 

Two men named Bob made "Bob and Bob" untenable.  The name that remained was Bannon & Son, a nod to the son who leads the craft: the artist, tradesman, and wood whisperer at the center of every piece.

That founding partnership still defines the work today: design and craftsmanship on one side, engineering and fabrication on the other. Together, they take on projects other shops simply can't.
